"Great spot. The other reviews give an accurate description. The place is full of nice touches, it almost feels like someone's family home rather than a holiday rental/investment. For example, there was plenty of wood, matches, fire starters. There were stands for the pizza platters. The kitchen had almost everything you need for cooking including a cast iron pan. There were books, DVDs and binoculars. And lots of other small things that made for a very pleasant experience."

The bedrooms have luxurious beds, the bathrooms are modern, clean and the hot water quickly available. The kitchen has everything you’d need including a dishwasher! and the living room area is enhanced by a selection of books and games as well as a wonderful wood burning stove. The firewood supply is plentiful and best of all readily accessible. The outdoor area is even more amazing with a fantastic wood fired pizza oven, barbecue and alfresco dining area. There’s lots of places to hike or ramble and overall enjoy nature at its finest. I’d highly recommend this home for a holiday in the Southern Highlands"

"OMG where do I start. We had the best time. A wifi free zone and we didn't turn on the TV once. There was the beautiful vista , the pleasant outdoor space, the magic pizza oven and tea trees in a blaze of colour all around us with the outdoor area and eating arbour - just magic. No-one ventured into the outdoor tub but it looked sooo inviting. The host provided us with everything we needed and every whim was catered for. A 6 star rustic   spacious yet cosy cottage.  We'll be back for sure. Did I mention the wood burning fireplace and the wildlife and fresh air? Thank you Jeanette and Andrew. Just loved staying at your idyllic escape house."

"A beautiful and relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of busy life. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing getaway. We decided to spend the weekend away from Sydney with the kids to celebrate birthdays with friends and we were all pleasantly surprised with the property.
A weekend of adventure, relaxation and long walks through the bush. The kids had a ball.
We loved cooking in the pizza oven, our first time but it was well worth the experience. The house was amazing, we were very looked after and everything was clean, comfortable and cozy… especially the cold nights sitting around the fire.
Waking up on the Saturday morning and watching the kangaroos bounding through the property was the kids highlight of the weekend. A very special weekend. 11 out of 10 for us, we can’t wait to come back."

"Hello HRS. The property was a pleasure to stay in. The facilities were great and the location was away from it all - which is just what we wanted. Plenty of comfortable seating for sitting around the fireplace inside the house as well as comfortable outdoor furniture on the deck. The fire pit in front of the house for toasting marshmallows and the pizza oven and outdoor area were delightful and perfect for our party of 7 adults and one infant. Plenty of space to explore on the property and the instructions for finding the place were very accurate and helpful. It is one of a few places that were so enjoyable that our family would consider going back there again. Plenty to see and do or just sit on the deck and read a book. Relaxing to the max!"

"Tea Tree Hollow is an oasis of calm that provides a totally away from it all experience. Little to no mobile coverage means a weekend without interruptions just relating to friends and family. Our group of seven adults and one crawling infant enjoyed a wonderful long weekend. There is plenty to do outside - walks around the property to see the sights ( the quirky Garden of Curiosities, the yoga platform with Balinese hut and surrounding bushland). Inside there are very comfortable beds across four bedrooms. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom cupboards. The living / dining area was big enough for our group and the wood heater kept us toasty warm for the entire time. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking / eating equipment. The furniture is very interesting with some beautiful handmade items e.g. the dining table made from recycled railway sleepers, that give the home a really individual decor. Bathrooms were clean and fresh and there was always plenty of hot water for showers. A delightful deck area on the western side of the house looking across the valley gave us beautiful sunsets as well as being able to watch the passing parade of kangaroos. A standout feature is the outdoor dining area with fairy lights and an amazing pizza oven which we used on our last night. There is also an outdoor fire pit for having a campfire under the stars which of course shine even brighter with no ambient city light. There is a landline phone to help guide your group in for the late comers or contacting the owner who was excellent in providing advice on using the pizza oven as well as fixing a couple of minor problems. Plenty of firewood for inside and outside. A comfortable home and plenty of places to just sit and play board games or drink a cup of tea / coffee. A Nespresso machine with pods was a lovely touch. We didn't get to use the outdoor bath but maybe in the summer it might be an option to take up. Good support from the rental agency with advice on directions etc.. I would heartily recommend Tea Tree Hollow as a great place to leave your cares behind and relax in the most comfortable of surroundings"

"The house is simple, clean and well equipped, but the biggest attraction of this property is the outdoor space. We came to this place about a year ago, and enjoyed the absolute privacy of the property which made it possible for the guests to explore the vast grounds without the constraints of clothing, apart possibly a path along a boundary fence at the back which might conceivably have common usage. As I noted on the previous occasion that yoga should be practiced in the nude, so it would make sense to walk naked from the house to the yoga deck along that path, but then it might shock an unsuspecting neighbour. In response, the owners have very kindly assured us that the neighbour is mostly interstate so almost never there, and indeed there is no house in the neighbouring lot. In fact, the owners have drawn us a little map to show a way from the house to the deck through the property, and have also pointed out that guests have permission to continue into the property next door through a gate near the stream. We took great advantage of this and, with privacy assured, it was wonderful to explore this extra vast area in only birthday suits and gardening boots. One must emphasize that without gardening boots, it would be impossible to explore the area near the stream which is very soft and soggy. Indeed, we still have not managed to find the raked Japanese garden, as the recent rain has made it difficult to navigate the soft grounds between the stream and the higher ground beyond where this gem must be located. Another visit, perhaps, hopefully with better sunshine."

“Wonderful nature time. “This is an exceptional place with complete privacy, to be explored with or without the constraints of clothing. The house is very clean, and the facilities inside are completely adequate. But it is the outdoors where this place is exceptional. There are so many places within the vast grounds to explore, and one does not need to bother to get dressed to do so, although gardening boots will help one get through some of the long grass safely. The only complaint that we may have is that there is not a more detailed plan showing the precise locations of the various attractions, apart from a drawing on the wall. Perhaps there is also a little question mark on the precise location of the eastern boundary of the property, and it is not quite clear whether one stays within the boundary of the property while walking up the track to get to the yoga platform. As yoga is supposed to be practised in the nude, it makes sense on a fine day to walk to this platform in one's birthday suit. Nevertheless, it is highly unlikely that this track is used by anyone else, so nobody is likely to be embarrassed.”

"We had a group of 8-adults, staying for 3-nights. Even though it rained for most of our stay, we found Tea Tree Hollow a great place to relax and getaway from the everyday. The house was very clean throughout. We found a number of thoughtful touches ranging from a huge amount of firewood to a variety of useful kitchen utensils and pantry-items. Instant hot water was a bonus! Good water pressure and decent-sized showers. The property was easy to walk around to enjoy the art and beautiful surrounds. Pizza oven was a plus that we used. Checking-in instructions were easy to follow and accurate. There is no wifi and phone signal is all-but non-existent (there is a land-line phone). All-in-all, we would highly recommend Tea Tree Hollow and look forward to our next stay there."

"Our family stayed at Tea Tree Hollow for 3 nights and it wasn't nearly enough! The home felt warm and cosy and my husband and kids enjoyed maintaining the fires both inside and out. I've never stayed in accommodation so well equipped with everything we needed. Even things we didn't know we needed, like an extension cord! The large property makes for a wonderful adventure playground for kids and adults, with a number of beautiful locations for family photographs. We can't wait to stay again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet escape from a busy life."

During the day it was perfect to take small walks about the huge property to take in the wildlife and bush environment, we enjoyed having brekky in the huge open kitchen style dining area and watching the roos graze and hop about in the distance. A very relaxing stay in a tastefully designed and decorated home. Thank you! For the folk who are worried about wifi/cell reception, a short walk behind the property and we could check emails and respond to texts, there is also a landline in the house, the nearest general/grocery stores are about a 15 min drive out so come well stocked and enjoy!"

"Tea Tree Hollow is a unique and very special location. The house was comfortable, well thought out, and had everything you need and more. There were some great spaces for a group to relax whether it was around the huge couch inside by the fireplace, the other huge couch outside on the deck, or by the firepit, or around the big table next to the BBQ and pizza oven. Great spaces to relax, unwind and mingle with friends and family. The property was quite large, but it was made to feel larger and was a joy for the kids (and adults) to explore as there were some special locations dotted around that you could look for and enjoy, and even a map to help you find them. I should add that this property had to be the cleanest I have EVER stayed at, and we’ve stayed at countless places - everything was just scrubbed clean like it had never been used from the kitchen and bathrooms all the way to the fireplace and firepit outside. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An absolute pleasure to stay at. Thank you."

“Had an amazing time with my family. When we arrived we were greeted with breathtaking views of the sunset and kangaroos grazing in the distance. The outdoor BBQ facilities are fantastic and easy to use. The fireplace was already setup and after simply lighting it the house was warm and toasty within an hour. We loved the outdoor fire-pit as we built a fire and roasted marshmallows under the clear bright sky. We relaxed on the cosy couch whilst we could still appreciate the night sky through the large windows. The kitchen and furniture was tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. My young boys absolutely loved the house, especially the bunk bed and couldn’t get over that the whole property was their backyard to play in. We barely left the property the 3 days we were there and couldn’t fault the place. I especially loved the wood fire pizza oven and cant wait to go back!”
